The conference schedule includes sessions focussing on Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga and ATMA Meditation, the practices developed by Yogi Ashokananda. Yoga Life Conference Talks & discussions will be held on a variety of topics including Ayurveda, Nutrition, Stress Management, Addiction, Yoga Therapy for Mental Health, Healing through Nature, Children’s Yoga, Pranayama, Charitable Projects.
The conference will take place in the beautiful and sacred surroundings of Tiruvannamalai, South India, at Yogiville India. Yogiville is near the holy pilgrimage site of Mount Arunachala and home of the late Sri Ramana Maharshi.

Yogi Ashokananda, an expert and pioneer as a practising master of yoga, meditation and spirituality, has dedicated his life in service to humanity, teaching, mentoring, writing, learning and speaking on yoga, meditation and spirituality. Raised in India, Yogi Ashokananda was fortunate to develop his teaching experience and education of yoga under great Indian masters and siddhas. The Gurukul style of learning with the masters, influenced his experience and inspiration to develop his own profound yoga & meditation disciplines and insights with roots in the ancient, sacred Indian tradition, namely Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga, ATMA Meditation & Science of Relaxation.

My background as a professional dancer explains the passion for experiencing spirituality through the physical body. The body is our vehicle to transport us through this dimension and lifetime and I looked into and studied many ways to optimise this experience. Training and expertise: Personal Trainer, Natural Movement Coach, Animal Flow Instructor, Jivamukti Yoga 300h taught by Sharon Gannon and David Life, Stewart Gilchrist 500 h advanced Yoga of East London School of Yoga and 500 h with Yogi Ashokananda in Prana Kriya Yoga and Himalayan Hatha Yoga.
Sessions: Himalayan Hatha Yoga, morning and evening practice. Himalayan Hatha Yoga is one of the forms of yoga founded and taught by Yogi Ashokananda. A strong, yet supportive form of yoga, working through the entire body, cleansing and revitalising through special sequencing with a combination of subtle body exercise.
Kaivalyananda (formerly Cameron MacInnes) is a highly-qualified International Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master from Scotland who is passionate about helping others experience deep personal transformation through yoga and energy healing.
Sessions:
Prana Kriya Yoga. Join this session and feel the immediate impact of this practice on all aspects of your being, drawing you into an equally energized and relaxed state of existence.
Restorative Yoga Practice. Enjoy the restorative flow of Cameron’s sequences and finish feeling peaceful and relaxed.
Atma Meditation. This practice will renew your energy, heighten intelligence by awakening and altering your perceptions and feel a connection to yourself, to others and to a source greater than you.
Dr Radhika Agrawal is a registered Naturopath and Ayurvedic Medical Practitioner. She is most passionate about her field and the positive results Naturopathy, Ayurvedic nutrition and therapy have consistently yielded. She is the resident consulting Doctor for Yogiville where she works one-on-one with patients, conducting Panchakarma Therapy (internal herbal systemic cleansing) and Yoga Detox programs. She hopes to empower people to create their own health using food as medicine.

Michelle began practicing yoga in 2006 to bring balance and grounding into her life. After years of practicing several different styles of yoga she really wanted to experience a more complete practice that would give a deeper understanding of herself. Michelle started training with Yogi Ashokanada in London and India, she has been teaching his style of Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga and ATMA Meditation since 2013. She now teaches Ayurveda foundation courses with Dr Radhika Agrawal and runs retreats and workshops as part of the Neuroprana team.

Sessions: ATMA Meditation. You will be guided through simple meditation & mindfulness techniques to calm your mind, relax the nervous system and let you feel overall positive in life while creating a healing vibration to your body.
Session: Yoga for Stroke Recovery. Raj will focus on the practice that will help create a mind/body connection, which is really beneficial for stroke recovery. Each movement is very deliberate, and that extra stimulation can really wake up your brain. Identify the Asana and breath work which helps to create balance, range of motion, strength and endurance, while considering the health & safety aspects of the practice.
Session: Laughter Yoga. Laughter Yoga combines simulated laughter exercises with gentle breathing techniques to teach the body how to laugh without relying on jokes or humor. Laughter has been shown to decrease cortisol, the body’s stress hormone. It also increases endorphins, which lowers pain in the body. Laughter Yoga has been shown to decrease cortisol and increase endorphins.
Francesca Quaradeghini is the founder of Yogoloji retreat company and Yoga Education in Schools. She began practising yoga in 1997 and has been teaching yoga and meditation since 2006. She has been certified to teach Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga by Yogi Ashokananda and has completed 200 hrs Hatha Yoga Teacher training with Nigel Gilderson and Christopher Gladwell. She is also a certified Holistic massage therapist and Ayurvedic practitioner.
Session: Teaching Yoga to Young Children (18 months – 7 years). Introducing children to yoga at an early age can help them learn healthy lifestyle habits and set the foundation for a fit future. Francesca will provide you with the inspiration and details on how to get a family practice started with child friendly yoga poses.
Session: Teaching Yoga to Teens. Students in our education system currently have intense demands placed on them, creating a unique environment where stresses and fears can inhibit progress rather than enhance it. Francesca will provide insightful evidenced based practices to help teens to improve mood and sense of fulfillment, increase focus and efficiency and relieve anxiety and tension.
Michael is a qualified Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner, has a license to teach self-esteem from the Ciros Foundation and is also a Meditation and Yoga teacher. Michael has studied under Bradford Brown, Wayne Dwyer and Antony Robbins. Michael has lectured at Oxford and Cambridge summer schools on leadership and the art and science of motivation and inspiration.

Session: Atma Meditation. You will be guided through simple meditation & mindfulness techniques to calm your mind, relax the nervous system and let you feel overall positive in life while creating a healing vibration to your body.
Hannah has completed intensive teacher trainings in Himalayan Hatha, Prana Kriya, Power Yoga, and Meditation & Mindfulness. With additional trainings including yoga for professional athletes, and trauma informed yoga in prisons, Hannah has a diverse range of knowledge and experience. She is a qualified Yoga Therapist with a certified 550 hour training from The Minded Institute.
Sessions and topics:
Yoga Therapy for Mental Health. Hannah will be delivering a workshop exploring the benefits of yoga in the field of mental health. Conditions including stress, anxiety, and depression will be discussed. The growing scientific research on the benefits of yoga therapy will then be presented with proven techniques using yoga asanas, pranayamas, chanting and meditation.
ATMA Meditation. You will be guided through simple meditation & mindfulness techniques to calm your mind and relax the nervous system.
Himalayan Hatha Yoga. A strong, yet supportive form of yoga, working through the entire body, cleansing and revitalising through special sequencing.
